An Introduction to Weibull Analysis (威布尔分析引论)

Rong Pan
Dr. Rong Pan is an Associate Professor of Industrial Engineering at Arizona State University. He received his doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University in 2002. He has been working at Arizona State University since 2006. Before that, he was an assistant professor at the University of Texas at El Paso. His research interests include failure time data analysis, design of more

Weibull distributions are widely used in failure time data analysis. In this talk we will discuss several Weibull distribution models and their applicability in various engineering applications. Parametric estimation methods and some software tools for fitting Weibull models will be demonstrated. I will also give a brief of introduction of Weibull regression, which is one of the most popular data analysis methods for reliability data with covariates, such as the data from accelerated life tests.
