This webinar will enlighten your view of how traditional Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) may be applied to software engineering in novel ways. Robert Stoddard will share concrete methods and insights based on experience piloting such techniques within Motorola Solutions and, subsequently, offered as a refined methodology to other clients. Robert will also compare and contrast Software FMECA with traditional hardware and systems FMECA and provide a glimpse into methods that will be tentatively offered as a pre-conference, one-day tutorial at the upcoming January, 2014 Reliability and Maintainability Symposium (RAMS).
